Nominate Your Innovative Milk Program for LISN Award by November 3, 2008

August 1 through November 3, 2008, applications are being accepted for the 4th annual Leadership in School Nutrition (LISN) Award sponsored by National Dairy Council® and Dairy Foods Magazine. The award recognizes positive partnerships between schools and dairy processors to provide students with better nutrition through innovative milk programs using kid-appealing plastic packaging. These improvements lead to increased milk consumption and meal participation.

The Winning Partnership: First Prize $5,000
Your school district and processor could win the first prize of $5,000 each, or 1st or 2nd runner up prizes of $2,000 or $1,000, each, respectively. Get inspired by reading about the successful programs implemented by last year’s LISN Award winners at www.LISN-Awards.org.

Nominate a School District or Dairy Processor
Nominations will be accepted through November 3, 2008 at www.LISN-Awards.org. Districts may nominate their program and processor partnership. Processors may nominate their own school district partnerships. The winners will be announced during School Nutrition Association’s Child Nutrition and Industry Conference, January 18-20, 2008, in New Orleans, LA.
