April – DRINK IT THEN SINK IT! Recycling Challenge
April 22nd is Earth Day. Excite your students and help save our planet with this easy to implement Recycling Challenge. The guide(pdf) will give you background information and tell you how to implement the program. Have our goal poster(pdf) enlarged at your local copy center and use it to track your school’s progress. The Recycling Challenge Mini-Posters(pdf) can be printed and used throughout the serving area and cafeteria to remind everyone why it’s important to recycle. Don’t forget to promote your Challenge. Use our Menu Blurbs & PA Announcements in your schools and on your menus, and our Recycling Challenge Press Release Template to spread the word around town.

NEW! September – School Milk Around the World Promotion
The last Wednesday in September is World School Milk Day! An international, annual event started in 2000 that celebrates the importance of school milk in children’s diets and increases global awareness. World School Milk day is actively supported and promoted by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Kick the school year into high gear with our School Milk Around the World promotion. It not only highlights the importance of milk, but promotes global awareness among students as well.
